E-TABS
This course introduces structural modeling, analysis, and design for multi-story buildings using CSI ETABS. Learners start by navigating the software interface, defining material and section properties, and setting up multi-story grid systems. The curriculum covers 3D modeling of columns, beams, floor diaphragms, shear walls, and foundations, alongside the assignment of gravity, wind, and seismic loads based on building codes. Students then learn to run linear, non-linear, static, and dynamic response spectrum analyses, evaluate structural behavior through shear, moment, and drift diagrams, and produce code-compliant designs and detailing reports for concrete and steel elements.
